The event established to promote African fashion and culture on Sunday at Porchester Hall London. It featured catwalk presentations from 6 African designers namely Kosibah, Tina Lobondi, Eldimaa Fashion, Kwame Koranteng, Larissa Mode and Simply Glamorous Fashion.
The well attended event kicked off with a sizzling red carpet session and a drinks / food reception in the exhibition room. Event hosts Wale Gates and Toya Washington paired up well to keep the audience excited all through the night. There were live performances by Mazi Chukz, Shanky and Radical 77. GAFN 2015 which was organized by publisher Chioma Onwutalobi also witnessed the launch of the debut edition of Glam Africa magazine which will be printed quarterly (spring, summer, autumn and winter editions). The fashion/ lifestyle magazine which will be printed quarterly and distributed in the UK and Nigeria will also be available online.
